Closing the night with JT b-sides.
« on: October 05, 2017, 03:23:00 AM »
This is how they should open the encore, immediately after playing the Joshua Tree in full. Seriously. Open w the suite of pre-JT songs; JT in full; then an encore of JT b-sides and/or Rattle & Hum songs (Desire, at a minimum); and, then close w the encore of Beautiful Day, Elevation, Vertigo, et al.

Closing like this just seems awkward to me.

Don’t be shy. I can’t be the only one thinking something along these lines.

Sure it would be fun to hear the B-sides, but I'm just glad they're still alive and kicking.

Honestly, "One" is the closer.  Anything after that is just a little added bonus.

I too am glad that they’re still alive, kicking and touring, but it would have been amazing to see Desire in Toronto last June. Full band rocking version- not acoustic. 😀

I liked it. I thought it was a good idea.
