Ticket sales getting worse across the board
« on: December 08, 2017, 04:21:35 AM »
I feel like this year I'm seeing ticket sales getting worse in general. In the last few months I've been trying to buy (all UK dates):

Foo Fighters at Olympic Stadium - Online for the sale opening, within 1 min standing was sold out, and any decent seats. Ended up getting 2 tickets up in the gods

Prodigy in Glasgow - Online for sale opening, within 1 min standing was sold out, ended up getting unreserved seating in balcony.

Pearl Jam at O2 - This morning was online for sale opening, within 1 min standing was sold out, seating sold out unless I wanted single tickets (which I don't, I was going with my wife).

And of course I've heard all the problems with U2 tickets in the States, which I'm hoping is sorted for UK dates.

I know that there's always been a difficulty getting tickets online, but I definitely see this getting worse. As long as I've been online for sales opening I normally always get something decent (except for Vertigo tour where I got nothing).
