« on: January 30, 2018, 01:39:38 PM »
Ok, so title is self explanatory..give the band's current fixation with drum and bass on American soul ...what u2 song represents the best bass and drum combo of our favourite rhythm section  ? - New year's day , the blackout, Mofo maybe ? Silence Bono and the edge and let adam and larry shine............

I'll give you two very different replies. First, the obvious one: Bullet.

Second, my under-rated gem. I know it's not brilliant from a technical/difficult standpoint, but damn is it a pleasure and that's Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World. Absolutely hypnotic bass from Adam.

(And an honourable mention to Please).

You guys all posted great suggestions. I think UTEOTW and Gone have to be in the conversation.

two hearts beat as one, vertigo, even volcano, although  the latter, along with blackout is techinically an edge/larry combination...as our favourite hatted one came up with the bass lines..

big girls are best ?  magnificent, every breaking wave,
