Lets talk about Editors

Who here likes Editors?  If you're American you probably haven't heard of them, but they're amazing and write really dark music!  They have a new album coming out next month, which I'm extremely excited about, so I figured now would be a good time to find some fellow fans!

I love their first two albums and still play them pretty regularly. After that they kind of lost me. They went very left field. Interested to hear what their new one will sound like.

I have 3 of their albums. In This Light and on this Evening seems to be the best which is a while ago now. A couple of songs off In Dream were decent. Haven't listened to them for a while. Will definitely check out anything new.

Have a couple of albums and haven’t checked them out for a while - but will do now!

I have the first album but haven't really listened to much since then, but going to see them at the Clapham Grand next month, hope it will inspire me to catch up with what I've missed.

People actually responded to this!  They definitely changed their sound after the 2nd album, but I think they've done a good job of experimenting while still keeping elements of what makes them them.  Each album is just a really enjoyable listening experience for me!

Isn't it so good?!  I just wish people knew who they were in the US.

It's incredibly good. So dark and layered with some really unique uses of the echo-y vocal sounds. Can't stop listening to tracks 2 through 6 and all the others are solid as well.
