I Still Haven't Found A Gospel Song?

I must admit this is my favorite U2 song and song period.  Do you consider it a gospel song?

I like Bono's quote of it being, "A gospel song for a restless spirit."

It's definitely a gospel song, though of course with rock treatment. Have you heard the Rattle and Hum version? If not, that will leave no doubt for you - it's literally gospel, with a choir and everything. They have a few other songs that would qualify too, most recently Lights of Home with call-and-response used in the verses and a gospel chorus (but performed with rock treatment).

Yes that is my favorite version of the song and the one I reflected on in the blog.  I love The Edge's introduction to it on the movie
