Point it at the cover of SOE and watch what happens...

Looks like itís only currently working with SOE, wonít work with Bluetooth audio devices, and wonít work with plugged in audio devices on my iPad, just the speakers.

Any image of the cover works. Google it and point it at the image on the screen.

Pretty fun, would be cool if they explore it more.

Ok, kind of neat but not a lot to it either.

I think itís currently there to give people a bit of an idea of what theyíll be able to do with it at the concerts.

Am sure that is right. Don't mean to sound dismissive of it. Would be terrific if they streamed screen images through the app for people not at the concert even if just for a few songs. Interesting to now encourage people to be using their phones at concerts.

It would be cool if the AR effect comes from the video screen itself and not your phone.  Who wants to be staring at a phone throughout a concert, or is the AR just for the opening song?

Seems like they will use Love Is All We have Left a bit like they did with Soon on 360 to come out on stage to and the app will be used for that. I cant imagine they would be encouraging people to look at their phones as they then rip into Blackout as the proper opener. Maybe there will be some other stuff later on eg for acoustic songs, maybe One, maybe for the break after part 1 of the concert.

I think its cool.  Since 99% of people have their phones up anyway during the show, why not make it interactive?  Im not a fan, but then again, I'm old.

If itís coming from the screen, then itís a projection, not AR. Iím guessing the goal is to make all the phones being out a positive thing while pushing the current tech forward.

Just the opening.

I assume it's for the intro and Love Is All We Have Left.

The serious sh** starts with The Blackout

This is obviously only for things like I-phones or smart phones. I still use the same old cell "flip-phone" that I purchased in the year 2000. I can make a call if I need to and I'm out somewhere other than home. That's the only thing I use it for. I'll turn it on and hold it above my head when Bono's ask us to during the concert.
