I stumbled upon this cover of "A sort of homecoming" by Canadian singer/guitar player Jacob Moon. I think he did an excellent job. What do you reckon?

Jacob Moon lives in my city and I've met him before. His Rush cover, gained quite a bit of acclaim.

Really?! You're so lucky! Was he nice?
Is he very famous in Canada?
Thanks for the Rush cover.
I've just watched it and it's totally incredible. Amazing! I think I like it even better than the original version of Subdivisions (a great song btw).

He's a shy understated Christian player. There are many YouTubers out there. I'm sure he'll be kind if you reach out to him.

I've been watching some more  of his work out of curiosity and it's really worth it. Check out his cover of Radiohead's Let Down. What a lovely voice he' s got, don't you think?

Sorry, we've been writing at the same time, I think.
I don't know what an "understated Christian player" is (I'm not a Native speaker plus I don't always get religious references on this forum. Most people are agnostic in my country). Does that mean that he mostly play religious music? Did you meet him at a religious event?

No, I moved in music circles here and I have to say he is quiet, talented and not flashy. I used to play guitar at the place where subdivision was filmed. I encourage you to reach out to him.

Great. Thanks! I bought his album The Loop for a start. ☺ It's wonderful! The only drawback is that his A Sort of Homecoming cover is not on it. However it has plenty of other fab songs, so thanks again.

By the way, the place where Subdivisions was filmed is amazing and it matches the song so well. Is it a music studio/concert venue as well?

And do you still play the guitar? Have you done any  U2 covers yourself? If so, is it possible to listen to them?
