Is it just me - or does bono seem to be going through the rock star equivalent of a midlife crisis? Thoughts?

That was almost 20 years ago...going through a midwife crisis in New York.
Plus, with those grandma circular classes he's been wearing lately, he's well past midlife.

I'm pretty sure he considers them Lennonesque, although I agree they don't do him any favors.

They released the song “New York” that specifically acknowledged a mid-life crisis?

yeah, Bono should ditch the Lennon-esque glasses and wear Lemon-esque glasses instead.

That's a recent photo? He looks much younger in that getup.

Now I'm trying to picture him on a yacht or beach... In full black jacket. That reminds me, I have some weight to lose. So glad I don't have the eyes of the world on my extra 10-20 pounds.

Rock Star is helping younger fans than he go through midlife crisis is probably more accurate...!

Supporting evidence?

I think he had a crisis of fame around 1987-1993 or so. And then I think he did an incredibly rare thing and clawed his way back to sanity over time.

So I think the opposite. I think he's very grounded right now.

Couldn't agree more! He seems levelled now a days, like he found his balance. I don't think it was a thing of crawling back to sanity, but more of coming to terms with his fame, influence, and more importantly learning to laugh at himself. Just my opinion but I do believe in his early days he took himself to seriously,  and fame, and having the attention of so many ppl, so many fans screaming I love you - well it can be overwhelming for anybody. He just seems balanced, as if he's come to terms and acceptance of everything.
