Hm, I don't know but it would probably be like a South Park episode with all the bleeps they would probably need, LOL!

Rollins would have to be funny or clever and he's neither.

Henry Rollins is both funny clever and may I say just enough of rough around the edges.  Of course you'd also need the Edge to do one of his "I'd like to thank Batman" speeches. Larry to tell us, how HE was the leader and started the band and how Bono walked in and took it over. We'd need one of the Gallagher, to give us more fyi, on a particular night when they partied for close to 24 hrs. And of course, the Virgin Prunes since they've been friends since kids and his buds.

I don't like roasts, I think they're mean spirited and cringeworthy a lot of the time. It can be funny and I know it's not meant to be hurtful or anything but it's just not comedy to me.

I tend to agree with you. I'd be more interested in hearing some stories about Bono and the band that are funny. And the pranks they probably pull on each other at times.

U2 should have the attitude of Chuck D. when Flavor Flave was roasted. As in, stay the f*** far away from any Comedy Central Roasts. I remember one of the comedians roasting the latter even said from the stage that the 'D' must stand for Diginity.' Now a FRIARS roast of Bono would be more classy and elegant.
