SPANISH EYES was the only B-side that got played the whole tour and it wasn't great.

I still think if they had pulled a few b-sides out it would have added something extra to the experience.

I'm surprised they played even one B-side.  99% of the people at any show won't be bothered by a B-side and probably wouldn't recognize it.  JT did have the best B-sides though (for U2).

I would kill to hear them play Spanish Eyes, as it's one of my all time favorites, B-side or not. But, yeah, the casual fans wouldn't have had a clue about the B-side stuff. Surprised they played any B-sides at all. Oh, and yes, the video is fantastic and Bono looks HOT. (Filmed in AZ, and as I'm from AZ it's fun to see various things that are no longer there along I-10.)

When the entire Joshua Tree album is being played, the one thing the show does not need is more Joshua Tree songs.  Playing hardly any B-sides was the right move.

Its funny, I hadn’t seen that S&G performance in years.  At the time I didn’t understand the critical backlash against Rattle & Hum but watching that now with Bono’s little speech makes me cringe.  I guess that’s the difference between youth and later life.  I was pretty wide-eyed back then.  Now maybe I’m pretty cynical.  I do remember even back then laughing when Bono said “Ok Edge, play the blues” and Edge rips into a very Edge-like solo that sounds nothing like the blues.
