Yeah, the last part of this tour is when to see them, especially if you want to see something different from ie tour. Bring it on, a Belfast and a Dublin for me.

The song selection is good, but they need to work on the flow. And the shortening setlist isnít good, they could add 3 more songs( Little Things, Landlady, The Fly). Not sure I understand what the narrative is with the current setlist, which I donít have an issue with, Iíd rather see a concert than a play.

I would love for Summer of Love to be replaced with a Bono and The Edge version of Landlady, then put The Fly in there, in between Landlady and Pride. Throw in The Little Things after COBL as the main set closer. That would be a good set list.

I really thought they were basing the set list on the narrative arc. So much for that theory. Or maybe they decided to abandon the narrative arc, or at least not follow it so tightly.

I never saw how the non-SOI/SOE songs fit with any narrative.  But glad to see they are getting away from that.  Too bad its too late for me.

It seems like they are enjoying playing this new setlist as well.

I really wish they would have taken some of these risks on the US tour. It's like the opening concert was incredible and the second show they took out some great stuff and kept that same setlist for the rest of the US leg. They go to Europe and it's like they put the playlist on random. Love it, and hope they do a second US leg so we can get some of those.

Hopefully, they have screwed the idea of a narrative and are just playing great songs for the sheer fact that they can.  Very happy about this.

Was at Manchester 1, have to say that's my favourite U2 gig yet. Saw Vertigo and I&E in Glasgow, and JT30 in Berlin previously.

Set loaded with SOE and Achtung Baby just works for me. Probably the most I've felt the band were really into it too. Leaving out JT material I think gave more weight to One and Pride which were both excellent, the 4 song run of Zoo Station, Stay, WGRYWH and The Fly had me delirious.
I thought all of the SOE songs worked well live, particularly Love Is Bigger which was made for arenas. Even an old staple like New Year's Day sounded fresh. I'm looking at the setlist and genuinely can't pick a bad part of the gig. Will remember that one for a long time.

When was the last time they played Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car in concert? I think that would be a great song to revive. It has a thumping beat, a very unique sound and I don't think Bono would struggle with singing it now because it's mostly in his lower range. It would sound great preceding or following Stay. :)
