Chicago date in today's Tribune
« on: March 07, 2009, 07:44:57 PM »
OK this is my first post on this U2 forum even though I am a long time U2 fan - first live show was in 1983 at Dublin's Phoenix Park.

According to Saturday's Chicago Tribune U2's USA tour will open at Solider Field in Chicagoon September 12th. Tickets expected to be $30-$250. Official tour details out Monday (as we all know)

They also mentioned 3 of the 6 headliners for Lollalpolza (excuse spelling) in Chicago in August as Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode and Jane's Addicition. Just incase you are interested. U2 link - DM played with U2 at a few Euro summer festivals in the 80s. Don't recall year but I did see them together at Torhout and Wercther in Belguim with a cast of many other bands including the Ramones who opened those shows at 11am - yeah Joey Ramone on stage at 11am.

Cheers
