40 years since they last toured outside the US and Europe... Sounds about right.

Judging from edges comments I'd say no chance.

Adam did say in an earlier interview there might be shows in the later part of 2019...

If it happens, here's how I see it going down.

November 14th - July 2019... Break from U2.
Aug-Sep- rehearsals.
Oct-Nov- Arena run through Australia/NZ and the Pacific Rim, including first shows in places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, etc.

Ahem...well, er, Adam did say to the BBC (when touring the current set with them) he likes 'down and dirty'.  So, well...

40 years?  One of you is joking, right?  According to U2gigs.com, U2 performed concerts:
-  in 2017 in Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil
-  in 2010 in Australia and New Zealand
-  in 2011 in South Africa, Chile, Argentina and Brazil
-  in 2006 in Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Argentina
-  in 1998 in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Australia, Japan and South Africa
-  etc, etc, etc

Bono just said after playing Beautiful Day in Berlin today that its the LAST NIGHT OF THE EXPERIENCE AND INNOCENCE TOUR. So if they do anything live in 2019, late 2019, it will be something different. Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Texas, Florida, Latin America, I'm sorry, but this looks like confirmation that there will be no Experience or Innocence shows for you.

Maybe a 30th anniversary Lovetown Tour in Stadiums in the following cities in November/December 2019:

Perth
Brisbane
Adelaide
Melbourne
Sydney
Auckland
Christchurch
Tokyo

Keep the staging simple like the Lovetown Tour, but large enough for the stadium. Totally 80s setlist with an emphasis on Rattle And Hum. Should be wild and fun if they do it, and won't take up too much time either.

If they were going to bring the Experience And Innocence Tour down there which is an arena show, then that would likely happen. But given that Bono has just said today that this is the last show of that tour, it looks like the best would be a Love Town style tour. I don't think there was anything very unique about the staging, so I'm sure they would boost it up to the stadium level so they could play to more people with fewer shows and save time. Doing something larger than that is unlikely given that it would take a lot more time and they desire an extended break next year.

Its not a definite they will do anything which means Australia may not see them again until 2013, so I would think Australia and the other places would be happy with a shorter tour in stadiums as opposed to nothing for a 30th anniversary Lovetown Tour.

Would take something too raise the bar now from this screen so going back too a simple set up like JT would be a great idea.
