Hey Fez, so we will be neighbours for a few days- cool !

About your spare ticket if you still have it when you get to barcelona then we would be soooooo happy to take the ticket. So no obligation, if you have it great if one of your mates decides to go later on then no worries.

There will be a fight for it and my brother will undoubtably win because he's bigger than me! I would let him have it anyway because I think he's just a bit more obsessed than me! He even called his son Joshua!

I think if we have one ga ticket already then just finding one more at the stadium will be easy ! woo! it's looking more and more likely that we will be doing both of the Barcelona gigs!!!

Have any of you been to barcelona before?

BTW from going back over the posts here it looks like there is a definate 6 going

pt1916- not sure?

No, but I'll probably spend a weekend there in May.

A friend of mine talked about Habia (or something like that) and said it was great but I can't find it on the net.

I'm considering Cedric Point (some poor reviews but great location), Mambo Tango (the best one but not as good located as Cedric Point) and Alberguinn Youth Hostel (a few minutes away from Nou Camp).

I'd like to hang out with another fans and stay at the same hostel cause that would be a lot more fun and even safier at night.

Hey, you can find Habia on

http://www.hostelsclub.com/

or

http://www.hostels247.com/

they only require a very small deposit to book, I booked with hostel club last week I think they still have rooms left. When I was researching where to stay i found lots of simlar places so I think you should find something.

Well I'm off to Liverpool for the weekend now so I guess I will drop in here again next week- bye

I was there for a week two years ago - it's my favourite city on the planet - so far.

One of my best nights out there was in a wonderful little bar called Los Chupitos in the Diagonal area (about five mins from the north end of Las Ramblas) where they create cocktails by setting fire to the drinks on the bar. The whole serving of each drink is like a performance.

I've got a room booked at BARCELONA MONTJUIC HOTEL - no idea where it is mind!

Thanks Scotty! This matches the description I had of the so called Habia.

I'll book 4 nights here -» standard double bed.

It's really near Plaça Catalunya, where Hard Rock is located. ;D

So many days left. ::)

Cool,
the place looks ok, quite small rooms but everything you need, I often stay in hostels and this one looks alright, I don't really care as long as I am there!!

Well it does seem like a long time it's around 87 days!! I'm sure it will fly by.  It's worse this weekend because I have come home to Liverpool and will spend the weekend with my brother who I'm going to barcelona with so we will be winding each other up all weekend and getting all stupid and excited!!
