^Love that second line. "I guess it's the price of love, I know it's not cheap..."

"The more you take the less you feel. The less you know the more you believe."

"I want to be the song that you hear in your head."

And on a similar note: "The songs in your head are now on my mind. You put me on pause, I try to rewind..."

"Walk out into a sunburst street. Sing your heart out. Sing my heart out."

October:
"October and the trees are stripped bare
Of all they wear.
What do I care?

October and kingdoms rise
And kingdoms fall
But you go on
And on."

If God Will Send His Angels:
"Jesus never let me down
You know Jesus used to show me the score.
Then they put Jesus in show business
Now it's hard to get in the door."

Kite:
"In summer I can taste the salt in the sea
There's a kite blowing out of control on a breeze
I wonder what's gonna happen to you
You wonder what has happened to me."

Probably the whole of Stay, Faraway so Close.  I generally like most of the lyrics on the album Zooropa, but that song is the best.

If I had to choose specific lyrics, I'd probably go for the following (different song):

My father is a rich man
He wears a rich man's cloak
Gave me the keys to his kingdom coming
Gave me a cup of gold

He said I have many mansions
And there are many rooms to see
But I left by the back door
And I threw away the key

I love the lyrics from Lemon!

"And these are the days when our work has come asunder
And these are the days when we look for something other"

Also In A Little While...

"Man dreams one day to fly
A man takes a rocketship into the skies
He lives on a star that's dying in the night
And follows in the trail
The scatter of light"

California (There Is No End To Love)
I've seen for myself,
There's no end to grief

Song For Someone
You've got eyes that can see right through me
You're not afraid of anything they seen

Iris (Hold Me Close)
I've got your life inside of me

Cedarwood Road
Sometimes fear is the only place we can call home

A heart that is broken,
Is a heart that is open

The Troubles
I have a will for survival
So you can hurt me and then hurt me some more

Some brilliant lyrics from Bono and The Edge on this new album.

"It's hard to listen while you preach"
Everything in California (now my fave song on the album)
"I'm a long way from your hill of Calvary"
"The universe is beautiful but cold"
"It's a dirty business, dreaming"
"Somebody stepped inside your soul, little by little they robbed and stole til someone else was in control"

I believe in the Kingdom Come
Then all the colours will bleed into one
Bleed into one.
But yes, I'm still running.

You broke the bonds
And you loosed the chains
Carried the cross of my shame
Oh my shame, you know I believe it.

But I still haven't found
What I'm looking for.
But I still haven't found
What I'm looking for.

Trampled in dust.
I'll show you a place
High on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name

Take my hand
You know I'll be there
If you can
I'll cross the sky for your love.
For I have promised
For to be with you tonight
And for the time that will come.

Simple: We get to carry eachother. Like; it turns out we are helping eachother because there's no other option.
Many mix this line with 'we got to carry eachother' which has a totally different meaning.
