"You gotta cry without weeping
Talk without speaking
Scream without raising your voice,"
For my money the best line in any song. And the way it's delivered... phenomenal.

Yeah we'll shine like stars in the summer night, we'll shine like stars in the winter night, one heart, one hope, one love!!!
Rattle & Hum version of WOWY...okay, not an official lyric, but I cannot listen to it with out adding that at the end
set me alight
we'll punch a hole right through the night
when you stop seeing beauty
you start growing old
I've found grace inside a sound
I found grace it's all that I found
I want to see your thoughts take shape and walk right out

Jeeeez there's so MANY!!
heres a short list i guess...
"she runs through the streets
with her eyes painted red
under black belly of cloud in the rain
in through a doorway she brings me
white gold and pearls
stolen from the sea
she is raging
she is raging
and a storm blows up in her eyes
she will suffer the needle chill
she's running to standstill."
"blessings not just for the ones who kneel...luckily"
"i can't live with or without you"
"oh you look so beautiful tonight"
"we're not the same...we get to carry each other"
"i was punching in the numbers at the ATM machine
a face in the reflection was staring back at me
at the moment of surrender i had folded to my knees
i did not notice the passers by
and they did not notice me."
and of course the entirety of Bad.
but thats just favorites. pretty much every lyric ever written is an exquisite piece of poetic beauty that shines with Bono's exquisite ability to elicit raw emotion from the depths of art.

All messed up, with opera in my head.

"When I was all messed up with opera in my head / Your love was a light bulb swinging over my bed."
"And what am I to do / Just tell me what am I supposed to say / I can't change the world / But I can change the world in me / If I rejoice"
"Set me alight / We'll punch a hole right through the night / Everyday the dreamers die / To see what's on the other side"
"Shows me colours when there's none to see / Gives me hope when I can't believe / But for the first time I feel love"
"You're on the road / But you've got no destination / You're in the mud / In the maze of her imagination / You love this town / Even if that doesn't ring true / You've been all over / And it's been all over you"
"Get down off your holy cloud, always / God will not deal with the proud, always / Well if you dream then dream out loud, always / Eternally yours, always"
"I see an expression / So clear and so true / That changes the atmosphere / When you walk into the room"
"A man dreams one day to fly / A man takes a rocketship into the skies / He lives on a star that's dying in the night / And follows in the trail, the scatter of light"
"I've seen you walk unafraid / I've seen you in the clothes you made / Can you see the beauty inside of me / What happened to the beauty I had inside of me"
"Beneath the noise / Below the din / I hear a voice / It's whispering / In science and in medicine / I was a stranger / You took me in"
"Sugar come on, show your soul / You've been keeping your love under control"
"Every generation gets a chance to change the world / Pity the nation that won't listen to your boys and girls / 'Cause the sweetest melody is the one we haven't heard"
I'm going to stop there because I could go on ... and on ... and on.

"Through the storm we reach the shore
You give it all but I want more
And I'm waiting for you
With or without you
with or without you
I can't live
With or without you".

I'd say mine are:
"Every artist is a cannibal, every poet is a thief, all kill their inspiration, and sing about the grief."
A close runner-up is:
"After the rain all the colors came out."
And lately it's been:
"Lose yourself, and gravity."

Pretty much all of the aforementioned lyrics are favorites lol
Lately, whenever I hear "In a little while, surely you'll be mine. In a little while I'll be there. In a little while, this hurt will hurt no more. I'll be home, love" I just stop and listen. It's not the deepest lyric out there, but it appeals to me. Brings up a lot of emotions for some reason
