I have discovered Zumba. I'm pretty out of shape, so it's definitely a challenge to keep up and finish the whole class, but I'm having a lot of fun. Even though I'm easily the least coordinated person in the class. The teacher said as long as I keep moving, I'm getting the full workout anyway, even if I'm a beat or two behind everyone else.  ;D

I tried yet another new workout- Hula-Hooping. There was an actual class for it. LOVED IT. ;D

Yeah! Well, I'll have to wait and see at the next meeting with my teacher.

Went on a 10 km/ 6.25 miles bike trip today. It was nice, but it was way too hot outside

Good luck zooey! You can do it.

Does painting count as exercise?

Painting the walls and ceiling and moving furniture and various household items back and forth to clean and set up a room is most definitely exercise.

Went for a 7 mile run today and felt really good after, I was extra happy cause I held a 10:00 pace through the whole thing  :)

Yay!  10-minute miles are awesome!  Although in my head, the first thing I thought was "dang...70 minutes of running??!" (marathoners and other distance-junkies, feel free to laugh).

Good luck, zooey!

If you knew how I really felt, you would NOT have made that joke! I actually cried before I put my wetsuit on - I was THAT scared.   :'(

But I survived!!! I saw a stingray and a seal - no sharks - not even leopard sharks  (little ones who don't bite humans or other large mammals).  It was a freaking hard workout but it was... almost... fun.

But due to the long car trip I didn't work out Saturday or Monday. So today I did a mountain bike ride this morning (didn't fall, didn't get hurt, caught some air a couple times) and then lifted and did 20 minutes on the elliptical this afternoon. I had done really really well with my calorie intake (mostly fruit/veggie juice with protein powder)... until 5pm... at which time I ate ALL OF THE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!  (veggies and hummus, apple, 5 mini oreos and some Chex mix).  Good thing we're planning on salad for dinner.

Good to hear that your trip went well Zooey, and props to you for facing your fears!  :D

Today wasn't bad for me running wise. I had a 2-a-day so I went 4 miles at about 10 am and another 3 at about 8 pm

oh and Thanks BSS  ;) (and nobody will laugh at you, I didn't actually think about it being 70 minutes until you said that  ::) )
