Hey y'all, I found our beloved thread on PAGE TWO!!!!!

Nice to see that Jab and Jo and Misty and Inish and BSS have been in here fairly recently though. Is everyone getting ready for their group run on April 21st (that's the day we're all running together in spirit, right?)?
Jab, I saw that on fb this morning, in fact - love it! I posted one of the "some ecards" pics yesterday that says "In case you were wondering, if you're on the treadmill next to me, YES we're racing."

Good news: My hip is almost totally better, and my IT band is not actnig up on the short runs I've been doing (3-4 miles) as long as I stretch really well before and after and then a couple hours later.
Bad news: the mountain bike fall is still bothering my knee - in fact, I may have it x-ray'd. I think I may have chipped the bone or something - it's still very tender and there's a big bump still and, strangely enough, if I put a hand on each knee, the injured one feels warmer than the other one. Is that weird?
But other than that, PT has been going well. I did a triathlon on Sunday - totally didn't train for it as I've been "out" most of the month with the injury. But I completed it - a great bike time and pretty miserable swim and run times. But I didn't really care about my times. I was just glad to be doing it. I was thinking it might be my last, but then I looked at my standings for that particular race. The first time i did it I was about 130 out of 225 women. Then I got as high as 57th! This weekend I was 86th (boooo!!!!). So I'm thinking I might do it ONE MORE TIME (in October) to try to get back into the 50s again (go out with a bang instead of a whimper).. Thinking new lighter weight handlebars for my bike might be in my future too

In other news, I just signed up Mr. Z and I for the Warrior Dash - it's one of these crazy mud run type things 3.2 miles with 12 obstacles (climbing walls, busted up cars, a forest of old tires on ropes, etc) the last of which are a fire pit you have to run thru/jump over and then a mud pit covered in barbed wire. I'm really excited and a little daunted. But at the finish line you get a free tee shirt, a medal AND A VIKING HELMET!!!!! Here's the link if you're interested - the map on this page shows each of the obstacles if you click on them:

I know that's a crazy long post - I miss you guys - hope you're all doing well - staying healthy - getting out there. Let us know what you're up to!
