Any excuse to hang out on the Stanford campus for a day or so would be awesome. I didn't know they had a new stadium. I went to high school right across the street from Stanford (about a million years ago). And SG, I got all excited when I saw you posted in here - I thought we were actually going to get to meet

I am sorry I can't but perhaps someday. If either of you want to visit the Big Apple, you have a tour guide named SG! You will all have such an amazing time!

Well, I'm planning on leaving my house at 6:30. At that time should only take 30 minutes to get there, so around 7 am or so?
*excited*

Will the @U2 people be in the GA line or in the parking lot? I just read that there are activities for all the concert goers in different areas near Rose Bowl. Where will the @U2 people be and how many are you guys so far? Cheers, J

Well, they're having people buy the parking online, and its $20 (plus $5 for online service fee) for general parking and then I think something like $60 for preferred parking.

I'm not really representing @U2. This is my own thing but I will let people know that I'm Logan B from the @U2 forums. I will try to get parking as close to the GA line to make things easier but if I can't then maybe someone can go on food and drinks runs for others.

I would love to meet someone from the @U2 forums. Let me know how to find you. I've never been to Rose Bowl, nor do I know how to parking lot is configured. Cheers, J

Update: from Rosebowl home page, due to record attendance they're having shuttle buses for this gig! In otherwords, i dont think the lot can hold us all! Ok i'm taking the train, i dont have GA seats so dont need to be there early.

I'm taking my 9-year-old, who is very excited to attend her 1st U2 concert. Any other families going who would like to meet up in the parking lot for a picnic before the show?
