Didn't Metallica do a show from Antarctica for a group of contest winners?

Ticketsales are not that good the last two years in Europe. Big acts are not selling out stadiums (not so fast). With all the competition from big acts, I really don't think they will play stadiums in Europe this year! Coldplay, AD/DC and Depeche Mode seem to have trouble to sell out stadiums.

I hoop we'll get some information soon!! :)

An arena tour would be so much cooler !

What I'd like would be arenas for 2009 and stadiums in 2010...one can dream.

The Polar Beach Party was up in the Arctic. In '94 on the deck of an oil tanker if I remember right. RHCP did it either the year before or the year after.

On topic: U2 will have no problem moving tickets in Europe regardless of who else is touring.  8)

Say what?! Did you check ac/dc.com? They are sold out everywhere except Amsterdam for some reason, they have been since they put them up for sale!

I'd watch U2 in Antartica if I had to!

They are dressed for something a little more formal.
