I was thinking that it would be great to have U2 cover some Led Zeppelin stuff - Immigrant Song, etc., and I came across this cover of the band doing a pretty big snippet of "Whole Lotta Love".  Apparently it was at the end of Discotheque during 8 shows in mid 1997.

I would maybe like to hear a "Running to Stand Still"-esque take on a Bob Dylan ballad.

You know what'll be VERY interesting for a cover?

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd!! :o ;D

I can hear the dual vocal take of Waters, sung by Bono, and Gilmour, sung by Edge. Plus to hear Edge's take on Glimour's great guitar work, which I think would be awesome!

I'd like them to cover some of their own material that they rarely or never play live.   ;D

Agree. Was hoping Twilight was going to make a re-appearance on the Vertigo tour.

I liked how he used a snippet of 'Never Tear Us Apart' in the Popmart DVD in tribute to Michael Hutchence. Was listening to that song today and could image Edge doing Kirk's sax solo on guitar.

My nomination is for a full version of Love Will Tear Us Apart.

something from The Pixies!

I also would like that they did something with Beck (producing there new album, they're fans) or ..

Neil Finn (Crowded House, Finn Brothers and solo really great), ( cover, duet, producing, I don't care)
