[Birthday/Events calendar]

Forum members,

Please notice a new feature we've added to the Forum: a Birthday/Events calendar. 

How It Works

On the forum home page, down near the bottom you'll now see a section called Upcoming Calendar. This will show birthdays and events happening in the next seven (7) days.

In the link menu at the top of the forum, there's a new Calendar link that lets you browse birthdays and events for the next couple years.

Wait! I Don't Want My Age Showing!

You can fix this by editing your profile:

1. Click on "Profile" at the top.
2. Click on "Forum Profile Information" in the left column.
3. Delete the year you were born.
4. Scroll down and click "Change profile" and your info will be saved.

If you don't want your birthday to show up at all, in step three delete all birthday information, not just the year.

Adding Events

We've enabled this feature mainly for the birthday aspect, not for the Events aspect. So, for now, only Moderators can add events. This is not intended to be a replacement for the primary @U2 Calendar, and so we will not be adding many events at all. At the moment, the only events in the calendar are the band members' birthdays and the release dates for No Line On The Horizon.

I miss Larry's by about two weeks but my son shares the same date as Adam 13th March

My dad missed it by a week, it was in the same hospital in Barking aswell! The only thing is my dad wasn't too well (nothing life threatining) when he was born so they kept him in for two weeks so my nan and grandad and Gwenda and Garvin could have crossed paths! 

I missed Edge's by 4 days
My husband missed Adam's by 1 day
My kids missed Bono's by 3 days and 8 days

What's wrong with us? 

I  have the right year but wrong months with Edge and Larry.  I am one month late for Adam's and one month early for Bono's   You are right Starfish-what is wrong with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
