If that's the set, then I'm very, very happy. 'Breathe' would be a pretty good opener, and lots of stuff early on and late on would be fantastic. No 'I Will Follow', 'Bad', 'Bullet the Blue Sky' and 'Elevation' disappointing, but obviously they can't play everything. Probably the most disappointed at the absence of 'Elevation' out of those- I know 'Bad' is by far the best song, but Elevation live is always incredible.

A U2 concert is the only place to blurt out "Mole, hole, excavation, sky, high, elevaaation, woohoo" without being stared at Tongue

What does it mean when its Crazy Tonight (remix)?  Is the band playing this live or is this like Popmart with the Lemon (Perfecto Mix)?

Cheers,

J

Lets hope so!

I'm not too thrilled about any of the setlists.  It seems to have turned way too radio-friendly and lost some of their edge.  At least they are throwing Ultraviolet in there.

Where are the rockers like:
Even Better Than the Real Thing
Discotheque
Fez-Being Born
Bullet the Blue Sky
Stand Up Comedy
The Fly
Gone
Until the End of the World

I thought Bono said this wasn't going to be such a choreographed tour like it has been for the last few.  It sounds like it's turning into Vertigo Tour Pt2.

I can only hope they change a lot for the US tour.

Well, I think to keep EVERYONE happy and so that NO ONE MISSES out on hearing their song, I reckon U2 should do the following:

A quick search in Itunes tells me that U2 have released 139 songs on their 12 official albums, or including B Sides, Rarities (and Winter), 241 songs.

They should just play the lot at EACH concert - it should only take 17.6 hours. Now that's a gig!

Where is the goosebumps smily when you need him... That slow keyboard during the speech, and then BLAMO, The Edge kicks in... This has epic written all over it.

zzzzzzzzzzzz...........2 more wasted minutes that could have gone to better use

There's only 2 ways to lead into Bad, with Bad or Please......end of story.

I think they dont have any song leading into Streets because they are using Streets as they're encore opener, thing that they haven't done before !

This would be better:

· Breathe
· No Line On The Horizon
· Get On Your Boots
· Magnificent
· Beautiful Day
· Elevation
· I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
· Bad
· Drowning Man
· Unknown Caller
· The Unforgettable Fire
· City Of Blinding Lights
· Vertigo
· Crazy Tonight (remix)
· The Fly
· Desmond Tutu speech
· Sunday Bloody Sunday
· Pride (In The Name Of Love)
· MLK
· Where The Streets Have No Name
· One
· Ultra Violet (Light My Way)
· Please
· Walk On / All I Want Is You (snippet)
· With Or Without You
· Moment Of Surrender

25 Songs- I think it could happen ( With breaks eg: after the fly during that speach.) I took out MW, AOH, and In a little while. like people said. this is a week middle. I added Bad, Elevation, the fly and please to give it more power while keeping in gems like DM, Ultraviolet, MLK, & TUF.

Feedback?

Seems a bit long winded. If you time it right, this will be a good time to go get a drink or run to the bathroom and make it back in time for Streets.

I think it's an excellent set list
Breathe will be an rockin opener, brilliant song

They're playing the right amount of songs from No Line
Starting with all those No Line songs and finishing off with Moment suggests they really believe in this album and they'll prove the naysayers wrong
I would have preferred Fez instead of Crazy though, just cause its a way better song and less conventional
I can't wait to hear Unknown Caller live and people will lap up Unforgettable Fire

Moment of Surrender should send the crowd leaving the venue singing "woo woo woo wooo...
