Best moments in U2 songs
« on: June 28, 2009, 06:47:10 AM »
Put these songs in a mini-play list and turn up to full volume when you get to the times.  Utterly utterly epic/beautiful/majestic.

In a little while - 3:07
Breathe - 3:53
Moment of Surrender - 1:16
Dirty Day - 2:10
Promenade - 1:40
Red Hill Mining Town - 3:58

Any other suggestions?

Bad (Wide Awake in America) :  4:35 and 4:54

Where The Streets Have No Name (long version not single) :  Well the intro is epic, but I'll say :  1:15 and 4:35

Magnificent : 1:50 to 1:59

Great post. I don't have the time sorry, but the bridge in "City of Blinding Lights" right before when Bono starts his "Time..."lyric. Sorry so non specific. If someone wants I'll get the time.

I also can't help but scream right when Adam  and Larry fully kick in on "Streets". Love it!

I don't know the time, but in Running to Stand Still- "You got to cry without weeping, talk without speaking, scream without raisng your voice, you know I took the poison from the poison stream, then I floated... out of here" Bono's lyrics at his best, I miss this U2.

the wordless twin vocal lines after Stay's last chorus. Bono sings a flowing legato line while Edge sings the same notes, but sings the first two staccato. Pure. *******. Genius.
