For PG, probably not (they seem to be able to play that one in their sleep, despite the fact that they rarely play it).  ES, I think you're right (assuming it was a full band affair and I'm sure it was).  To me, the key is for them to spend all their days off rehearsing new material, so they can keep things fresh throughout the tour.  I'm a firm believer that bands cannot operate like the internet doesn't exist.  By the same token, I firmly believe that on elevation they should never have dropped Bad.  Love AIWIY, but it's not a replacement for bad.

OTOH, it's OK if they don't play it at all (though it's missed) or only occasionally makes an appearance (like it did on the last tour).
