For some reason everytime my dad hears Vertigo he substitutes The Edge's "Donde esta?" with "Congestion"  ;D

I find it very amusing  :D

I guess the only song I misinterpret is Discotheque.  ;D

The others I hear properly, luckily.

Honestly, when I first listened to "Stay" I heard the lyrics "dressed up like a car-crash" as "dressed up like a" **** rash. I'm referring to a male's privates if you don't get the idea ...  :-X Am I the only one who hears this!? Some variations include "like a" cockroach, but I mainly hear the one I stated before. I hope I didn't ruin "Stay" for you!  :P

to me it was a cockroach, a few years later when I read the lyrics and read that it said car crash, I was so ashamed of myself... haha...  ;D

Always heard "car crash."

BTW, I just realized something, after 15 years of listening to the Zooropa album. "Stay" and "Babyface" have almost identical lyrics. "Dressed up/like a car crash" (stay); "dressed up like a lovely day" (babyface). Just interesting!

I always thought he was dropping a F-Bomb in the song New York.

I thought it was:

In New York you can f*** it

But it's:

In New York you can forget

I hear both of those too! Also in New York, it sounds like he says "Dancefall, dancefall", but he actually says "Dance hall, dancefloor"

On Mofo...

Got the swing, got the sway, got my straw in lemonade

I hear it as...

Got the swing, got the sway, got the strong lemonade

Plus I might add that in the lyrics section on @U2 on Mofo it actually says that the f-bomb was indeed dropped.  ???

Yeah, there's a certain part in Mofo where I think he's saying the F-word. But, it says "scat singing" in the Pop booklet thingy.

It's too hard to make out, but I think he says the F-word in Mofo.

Though I wouldn't be 100% sure he4 actually did say it, it's very faint, and it doesn't sound completely like the f-word... Need to ask some experts.  :-X
