Anybody going to the show in Atlanta?  My daughters and I will be there as early as allowed giggling and squealing the whole time.  ;D

Sweet! I was beginning to think I was the only one on the board going to ATL. When are y'all planning on arriving?

I'm in Detroit. a co-worker and I are talking about a dash down I-75 to see this show, since she has a friend living there who would put us up for the night.  ;D

I remember someone saying in another thread that ATL will probably see a Florida fan invasion due to U2 only playing 1 show there.

#@!

It wouldn't surprise me. When we went to see Springsteen in Atlanta there were people from all up and down the eastern seaboard waiting with us.

Oddly enough, we didn't meet a single person from Atlanta in the queue and believe me, we met everybody because they all wished my youngest a happy birthday here's why.

Alright, time for this Atlanta thread to wake up!  We have 45 days until the concert!!!  Who is psyched?  I'm flying in from Florida on 10/5 and am looking for other U2 fans to hang with that evening as well as in the GA line the next day-throughout the show-and then to kick off a post-concert party when the boys are done playing.

Who's with me???!!!

I'll be in the GA line, that's for sure but not so much any after parties since I will have my two daughters with me.

We will be leaving Tuscaloosa as soon as we wake up, I'm betting about 5am knowing me and providing I actually sleep.  ::)  So that puts us getting there about 8 or 9am.  I have no idea if this will be too early or not.  I know there wasn't that big of a line for Springsteen but I'm not taking any chances.  We got there at noon for that one and got into the pit easy.  I'm hoping that the folks in Atlanta will keep with their habit of showing up late for everything.

Well if this thread is indicative of anything we shouldn't have any problems at all.  It's like a morgue in here.

Don't worry, I'm a fan of black humor. And I was referring to the queue, not this thread, I'd love to see more folks here, but not a lot in the queue until long after the girls and I get there!

Well, we will be the one's in the Red Cross tshirts and hats, probably laughing ourselves silly and singing really old folk songs (or Bob Dylan tunes knowing my oldest) to pass the time.
