Are the different mixes of that song available anywhere for download (free or purchase)? Forgive my naivete if it's been discussed elsewhere. Still new here.  :)

I think if you subscribe to U2.com they stream all the Dirty South mixes under Music. That's the only place I found them so far.

I have always said all along Crazy Tonight is one of the strongest tracks off the new album and should have been released as a single much earlier.

Cheers,

J

THANKS!!!

Just found via a Google search is all.

I dig the new "Crazy" concert vid and hope it continues to bring this album up in sales/popularity.

My friend at work hit the Coldplay concert over the wkd here in Chicago and said the last song they played before they came on stage was 'Magnificent' VERY loudly and the crowd was really into it!!

Yes, you have.....and no matter how pompous you were at the time, I give you credit for that call.  I think it was harder for some of us die-hard U2 fans to admit that such a superficial sounding pop song would be the best single from the album.  We wanted people to like what we like about U2.  I'm glad that even songs that we die-hard fans consider "weak" are enjoyed by the casual music listener.

On the other hand, I don't want to "Over-generalize" the term "die-hard fan".......I'm sure there are plenty of you who love Crazy.  I like it but I think it ranks about 5th or 6th on the album.

i don't think it's Crazy that is making NLOTH's come back. it's the on-going concert - the Claw, the energy especially during the last night in Dublin. news about that is spreading like wildfire all over the world..remember, Bono was amazed when he saw just too many hands up when he asked who were among them who came from other parts of the world. and, most likely, there are among them who bought the album immediately after getting amazed there in Dublin. :)

Fair comment. I think U2 album sales usually get boosted when they tour, don't they?

I think Crazy will still have an impact though.

Give it 3 weeks and Lady gaga will be above U2. She is selling roughly around 90,000 a week comapred to u2's 30-40 thousand!

U2 should be the 2nd top seller of the year , but thats depending on what happens to MJ'S sales!

in the pop music world crap floats to the top. it's great that U2 can even chart in the top 10 let alone have the top selling album for as long as they have. they are the exception. Lady Gaga is just a novelty act. Whoever is behind her however must be pretty powerful.
