Walk On would be an excellent inspiration for many.

Beautiful Day also could work, from what faith/religion is this church by the way?

U2: 10 strings, 2 sticks and 1 voice, all of Grace

« Reply #18 on: November 06, 2009, 04:31:42 AM »

Many kind people have posted some great U2 songs here, and indeed, there are likely too many to list.  Thus, I'll try to offer some other options:

"Song" - Band - Album

"Just Wait" - Blues Traveler - Four
"Solsbury Hill" - Peter Gabriel - Plays Live Version
"Sometimes" - Midnight Oil - Scream In Blue Version
"I See Hope" - Midge Ure - Beautiful Noise
"One Small Day" - Ultravox - Lament
"Closer To The Heart" - Rush - A Farewell to Kings

and somewhat surprisingly, many tunes on "Streetcore" - Joe Strummer's last album

My vote is for I Still Haven't Found! I remember being a teen, and really enjoying that song. Even today, as an adult, it is one of my all time favorite songs.

I had a cadre of friends in high school who worshipped them. I'm still familiar with a lot of their songs.  Fan being short for fanatic? No.  Do I like a lot of their music? Yeah.
