I dont go with all thuis UK / Ireland stuff, so what if they played there in 2009, they played @ 10 dates in New York during the vertigo tour, they have also set up 3 concerts in germany 2010 to go with Berlin and Gelsenkirchen 2009 which were slow sellers.

The suprise for me is no Italy? we heard a rumour for Rome, and i'm holiding out hope for this, as 2005 was amazing, any ideas when the final dates will be confirmed cos i'm missing all the sales and being UK based can't wait too long in case the tour doesn't hit the UK

A gig in Zurich, a second gig in Spain and at least one Italian date are widely rumoured.

We'll just have to wait and see. Most of the presales should be finished in around 2 weeks time, so maybe we will get an update at that stage.

For Ireland and the Uk, I agree with the other comments, it's looking less likely as the date gaps are filling up, and there are more dates in mainland Europe to be announced, so it's difficult to see how they will play here. I had thought the new Dublin Aviva Stadium a strong possibility, it's opening next summer, holds 50,000, but for the 360 setup would hold more, and would give Dublin it's first full 360 experience as Croke Park is empty at the standing Terrace end.

There are realistically just 3 date gaps, that either Ireland or the Uk could happen:

Prior to August 10th(after U.S. second leg finishes but before Frankfurt gig)
September 7th to 14th is currently free,
September 24th to 28th is also free

these 3 are the only gap where logistically it's possible to do Ireland or the UK(or just Ireland only)

October is probably not a runner for Ireland or the UK as the weather is just too unpredictable.
