Yay Dallas! I don't agree really on the hotness factor (maybe when he was younger?)  ;) but he is quite awesome. I was very happy watching him set everything up while waiting for U2 to come onstage.  :)

I am definitely looking forward to watching him set everything up!

And because I am, well, me.

*nods*

I love how he's practically as famous as the band itself to us, when other people don't even know who he is :)

Lol! Thanks! :)

He has what my brother and I call "Lancelot hair" (after Richard Gere in First Knight). I can't resist it. *blush*

I'm reviving this thread, because Dallas is the man.  When he walked by during Charlottesville, I was definitely cheering for him.  And seeing how important he is to Edge during "It Might Get Loud" just furthered my appreciation for him.

Agreed, Dallas is awesome. There is actually a Dallas Appreciation thread on the forum. I think sadly it is several pages back. I was struck every show by how meticulous he was at setting up all of Edge's equipment. One of my fav tour memories is watching Dallas do a sounds check by taking one of the guitars while walking around the rim of the Claw.

I saw him interact with several fans and he was nothing less than gracious. He also did a magnificent job filling in the 2nd guitar parts during TUF.

And Monica, I agree, he is quite attractive.

I am a firm believer that if there's no Dallas, there's no Edge.

And yesterday was his birthday!

Happy birthday you gorgeous, brilliant thing you!

It was an absolute thrill to see Dallas setting up Edge's rig before the Rose Bowl.

OMG! I am kicking myself right now!

I remember that Mr Mister tour. Let's just say that I probably passed right by Mr Shoo and didn't give him a second glance.  I was such a freaking idiot back then!

I really love the last line when he acknowledges that there are chicks who would love to take his place.  As a mom of a chick who is a guitarist I appreciate that.
