YKYOW you can sing along perfectly to nearly every U2 song (y'know, besides Numb...) and enjoy doing so often. And you sing so loudly the music is drowned out. And you sing the instrument parts too...

All the time! This is the reason why I enjoy being home alone. And yeah, my numb singing is like, "don't hjkdalkjsfha don't mkgopg, don't fklnmih, don't kljhfohiff just play another chord." 


Based off of ^, YKYOW you have specific sounds you sing for each of Edge's guitars. The Fly is like a buh bwah bwah, Beautiful Day is a dum dum dum, dum dum dum, the solo in Miracle Drug is a neew neww neeww, oh I'm so strange 

This is me too!  I think I do better singing the instrument parts than I do singing the actual lyrics.  Plus, people don't judge you as harshly when you're imitating the instruments because they think you're just playing around.

Ha, I found myself doing that the other day when I heard it on the radio! (I always sing Edge's vocals on the chorus of NYD, but I've never done it with Streets before - not sure why I suddenly felt the urge to do so.) It's been so long since I listened to the studio version that I didn't even realise those backing vocals weren't on it.
