...inspired by Lebowski's remarks in the 2010 dates thread

U2
a reunited Soundgarden...if they were playing 3,000-6,000 seat venues.

that's about it.

...having given the matter further thought, I'd like to add Kate Bush. Hell, I'd pay over $1,000 for that!

Rush
Pink Floyd

Those are the only two I have and would once again pay $100 or more to see.

Peter Gabriel is the other I would pay that much to see (since The Beatles and Queen are impossibilities now because of the deaths of important members).

I would pay around $100 for U2, but only if they were good seats.  I would not pay that much for bad seats in a venue where there are 50K.

Boring answer but I'd pay more than $100 to see anyone really, if they're worth it.

Which in my opinion is a lot of bands.

Obviously there is the small problem of having no money, but we won't worry about minor details like that for now.

It's impossible for me NOT to where I live... the concert ticket is the least of my expenses.

To be honest, no one. I know, I'm a terrible fan. But, hey, the biggest fans can still be the ones who don't spend a lot of money.

I wouldn't say that at all. most of my friends won't spend more than $50, so they don't go to the big shows anymore. I know when I hit the wall on ticket prices: Peter Gabriel's 2002 tour. From 1989 through 2001, I averaged 28 concerts a year. In 2002,  the prices really started getting stupid...and then Pete came to town late in the year. $46 for nosebleeds in a 23,000-seat arena...when I'd paid $32 for 12th-row main floor tickets to see him the previous time he came through.
I don't think I've gone to more than 12 shows in any given year since.
