Is Sterling Magee still alive? Shocked
Possibly; nobody knows for sure to be honest. Guy disappeared a few years back.

OK, if we can't get him, then they better dig up that buck-toothed, underaged sheila from the Pay-Per-View version of ZooTV Sydney to fawn over Bono during a special rendition of Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World.

best part of this:

* Then (and this is non-negotiable) find that old black guy from Rattle and Hum  to perform "Freedom For My People"

we gotta find that guy so we can do a Freedom for my people appreciation thread! lol.

Exile, you have me cracking up!!!  Thank you!!!  I will join you in self-immolation if I don't hear Life on a Distant Planet, complete with Adam's orange and black sweater.

I was debating whether or not to even bring this up, but I just can't keep silent any longer (not when it comes to my favorite band). Like many of you, I am a long-time fan of U2. I bought War in '83 when it was brand new. I saw them play Sarajevo. I own all 23 remixes of Lemon. I've been there through thick and thin and stuck with U2 for the good, the bad, and the ugly. And you know what? I did it with a smile on my face.

But now? Now I draw a line in the sand. Now I must issue a clarion call to U2. Now I present an ultimatum: You are either with me, your biggest fan, or you are against me (kind of like all those terrorist-loving countries and America).

Here's what I'm getting at: I am sick of these cookie-cutter setlists and the whole dog-and-pony show that is the 360 Tour. Therefore I am demanding (yes, demanding) that the following setlist be played for the Seattle 2010 show, and if I don't get it, I will light myself on fire in protest:

* Open with "Into the Heart" (without "An Cat Dubh")
* Then smoothly transition into "Bottoms (Watashitachi No Ookina Yume"), followed by "Red Light" and "Elvis Presley and America"
* Then speed things up a bit with "Mission Impossible," "Is That All," and the second half of the Hexidecimal Mix of "Discotheque"
* Acoustic rendition of "Miami"
* "Peace on Earth" into "Bass Trap," straight into "Sixty Seconds to Kingdom Come"
* Then (and this is non-negotiable) find that old black guy from Rattle and Hum to perform "Freedom For My People"
* "Salome," "North and South of the River," then "Blow Your House Down"
* And to wrap up the main set -- can you picture it? -- "Cry" without "Electric Co."

Now for the encore:

* "I've Got You Under My Skin"
* "J. Swallow"
* "Boomerang 1" (you know, the good one, without the vocals)
* And to top off the evening... that piercing alarm sound from the end of "The Wanderer," played for ten straight minutes at full volume

So there you have it, those are my demands. If U2 has the b@ll$ to throw down with a setlist like that, they will reclaim their rightful place as rock 'n' roll gods in the hearts of all 17 of us who will still be listening by show's end. So come on, U2, be daring. Stop pandering to your fair-weather followers and give a nod to your real fans for once.

Booyah! Exile OUT.

I lmao at that Cheesy

Into the heart is too well known, be brave and play A Celebration!

Dear Lord, that would be the best show EVER.  There are some snippets that I could do without, i.e. We Are The World, which I think is a rip off of DTKIC that is lyrically repetitive throughout the whole song as opposed to the back half like in DTKIC
