for everyone who can't get enough of this beautiful hymn for salvation, this is the place for you!  unbelievably deep lyrics, heart-wrenchingly sung, with a driving rhythm, this song moves us in mysterious ways.

haters of nloth/MOS in general, start a separate thread.  let's hear from MOS lovers!

These are the lyrics.
From the "Bono raps (kind of)" thread in the lyrics forum.
They are absolutely beautiful:
"Like this song, your life is short, it's the longest thing you''ll ever do/
the worse the curse was when your dreams came true/
God is a miracle who each man sees himself/
Hell is place where you don't need anyone's help..

..When I first met you, your face was like snow
Wherever i went to, you wanted to go
Your face, no grace, no can of mace, in case...you put your face down
A-17 on the ground/your faith in the crown
Don't leave me now, don't leave me now, don't leave me now Lord, in this song...
don't leave me alone in this song": Shocked Cry Cry

Love the song. Almost immediately one of my favorite songs of all-time. Tears a hole in my soul...in a good way.

"And you can dream, so dream out loud."

Love it, some people say it's along with One, i disagree, it probably goes more with the person who started the thread "Running To Stand Still" (greatest song from Joshua Tree by the way). So much emotion and feeling in Moment of Surrender. I'm glad to have heard it live and what a closer. It conjures up so many images, and now whenever i go to the bank, the atm has so much more appeal.
