Hi guys! I discovered this when I read the blog post from our staff member. There you go-hate to blow our own horn, but atu2 was on top of this fiasco very early this morning. Between twitter, the blog and u2tours, I heard this happened to everyone of us this morning. The rumor was that they were hacked into and codes were stolen but that is just a RUMOR!  I don't think I saw an official confirmation on that.

I got frantic rather quickly when I just logged on to write my code down in preparation of the NYC presale tomorrow. Before I even called anyone , I saw from the blog at @U2 and u2tours that is was not just me. By the way, I had no idea the presale for NYC was tomorrow. YIKES!!!  Shocked I thought it was the 9th next week, but that could just be my own error.

I used to cut U2.com some slack but I lost it today. Well , thank goodness all codes are back. I got a timely tweet from ....

oh yeah  OUR SITE  that it was fixed.

Thanks @U2 for all of your helpful and timely information. I said it on Twitter and I'll say it here - the fans really appreciate you!

I received no emails whatsoever from U2.com about the new US tour dates or anything and whether unused presale codes wouls still be valid; I found out 2010 because I had in the past signed up for LiveNation notifications.  As a result I missed out on the presale for Oakland and am very bummed out about this...I'm getting ready to purchase tix in 15 minutes and hoping for the best!

I was just coming here to post that my codes had just been restored as well. That's a relief,  as it is the New York pre-sale for me tomorrow. Along with others, I did not receive any emails regarding the pre-sales either. So glad that I kept checking back for information.

They'll have it fixed, they always do in time in my experiences.

It's a big week of 2010 presales for subscribers in North America this week.

Some people have been reporting problems seeing their presale codes when they log-in. This is a temporary problem which will be fixed by the time the presales open.

Rest assured that if you have a presale code in an email from us as a subscriber - and it has not been used for tickets - it will definitely work in the presales this week.

Went to check on things tonight before the Yankees game and it is not quite fixed!!!
DH and I both have our own accounts and renewed last week.

I have one usable code starting with a '2' now but he has nothing. Grrrr....
