this was a great idea and really summed up the whole pop thing

why they took it off the dvd/video concert release I dont know its awesome

sorry I also chose in your dreams because it suited the whole pop thing but not really the 360 event
but for pop it was awesome and I only found out about edge doing it when I listened to a pop concert and heard edged singing the monkeys and thought what the hey? and than thought..now thats coool

the live popmart mexico dvd suffers from the absence of the edge karaoke and miami parts. miami, when it was performed properly, was one of the best live u2 songs i've ever heard. total kick-ass song compared to the album version. have a listen to it on the popmart leeds boot in u2start.com, unbelievable.

That was hilarious!  Grin  Thanks... and gosh, I never realised how alike The Edge and Bono sound, maybe because I haven't heard enough of Mr. Edge singing on his own.

I think I'd rather have Numb or Van Diemens Land in the set if the Edge was going to do a solo slot.

The karaoke was such a "pop" moment... it kind of worked in that context, but away from that format I can safely say 'no thanks!'
