Do you mean during the Zoo TV tour? The one time that Adam did not play with the guys was during that tour and it was in Australia i believe.

He means the video.
It's Adam. It's Adam looking strange with a full beard. When I first saw it I also thought it's someone else, but in the scene when Adam and Larry are putting on their gloves smiling, you can tell it's Adam for sure.

ahhhhh beardy Adam. I can imagine those to young to remember not remembering a bearded U2. Must get the thread re-inacted. All four had beards at some stage (Edge still does) but I think Adams was the most impressive - his was mainly round the UF/Live Aid period of '84/'85
