Those are tears of pain ... because my ears are bleeding.  I have nothing against Mary J. Blige as a singer, but I generally have problems with people covering U2, and this is on top of my list of "ugh".

I'm gonna be frank. You're all over thinking this. All I'm saying is it would be nice to have some eye candy up onstage in concerts, and as a fallback for when people say things like "You like U2? A buncha 50 year old men who yell about wearing boots?" and you can say "Hey! There's a hot girl in the band too! AND they make good music!" She doesn't have to sing, she could play the keytar without an amp or something. Just like the ZooTV bellydancers, just there for the show. I hope I didn't offend anyone with my ramble.

That would work, I'm not sure if the older fans would be fond of seeing something like that, but you never know. I think it could work in a way.

No it wouldnt work, the grateful dead did that years ago and everyone
hated it. The only thing they need the women for is to do the wardrobes and
hair. Cheesy

Those Coconut girls were very cute  Wink Bono even remembers during the War sessions , it got very hot in the studio. The girls just took their shirts off and sang with their bras on. He said all of the U2ers got very embarrassed but they didn't mind!  Grin
They also sounded so good on Surrender & all those great War songs. Ah - good memories!
