Who's going?  I will be coming in on the 19th for this one!  I know there are a lot of people from Edmonton coming down and many from Interference boards and Zootopia!
I got a GA!  Just thought I'd post a thread to get us all started.  At Zootopia we are thinking of gathering for dinner on the 19th and then a few drinks!  Fan gathering good times!!

I have heard the Silver Cloud Inn - Staduim is a good place to stay!  Anybody from the area have suggestions for us out of towners?

ONLY 219 more sleeps from today!  LOL!

Hj!!!  Hi there!

I was looking last night out of curiosity and the Silver Cloud Inn near Qwest Field is showing as full, (booo)

I am all for the gathering ( Cheesy  always fun!)
We crazy Edmonton people will be doing it all again at O'Byrnes on the 21st!  (It is still O'Byrnes, isn't it?)

Update on the travel plans: I am flying in on the 19th and out on the 21st. Booked at the Silver Cloud - Stadium for Saturday and Sunday night. (My travel agent who booked my room said the Dude she talked to at the hotel says that they are *almost* fully booked and asked her, "Is your client a U2 fan?"  He knew right away so it sounds like lots of fans will be staying there.  It is not cheap either...$250 a night.  The things I will do for U2!  LOL!)

Tickets booked - Check
Hotel Booked- Check
Flights booked - Check
Excited beyond measure - Check.

wooo hooo!
pinch me...am I dreaming?

Welcome one and all!
Although I don't live in Seattle proper, it's close enough to home for me to claim it and be super excited that all of you fine folks are coming to town (to say nothing of the four gentlemen you're all coming to see).  If you're looking for cheap stays, a good place to start would be hostels.com, as they list all the hostels in Seattle.  There's one ('American Hotel')right in the International District, which is practically next to Qwest Field.  There are also several hostels and little boutique hotels in the downtown area, which is just a short bus ride away.  Once you figure out where you're staying, King County has a good website that lists all the transit options and should help you plan how to get around.

If you're getting into town early, there are plenty of things to do - walk through Pike Place, take a ferry ride for a great view of the city from the water, parks and museums galore... if you're an outdoorsy type, there are lots of nice walks and short hikes in an around the city as well.  Something for everyone!  Let me know what you're interested in, and I'd be happy to help you find it.
I have GA tickets and will probably be in line early - it's my sister, brother, and husband's first time in GA, so I want them to get a great spot.  Grin See you all in June!

Oh yeah Set list changes!  I have dreams about it...mostly daydreams...wondering what they'll add..or take out.  I wonder who will open too.
Can't say I want to see the BEP again.  Not bad, I would just like variety!  I'd love to see Metric.

I keep hearing about things to do in Seattle and I will be there for such a short time, I will have to cram it all in!
