a little early for a meetup plan, but i did want to know about the public transport options to the stadium in Denver? I figure if i can get all this stuff booked well before show date it won't seem like as much money come show time.

Great question.....I'd like to know too!

If we stay at a D/T hotel is there any service to the stadium?  I know we'll need a car to get to Red Rocks  Roll Eyes

Thanks Everyone.

hey got this post up on TA as well, so I'll get more info soon, looks like the stadium is pretty central to the city, should be easy to get to. Will update this soon.

Going to Denver also. I checked out the website for the stadium and there is light rail. I didn't look into the details and schedules, etc but they are available. A friend told me the stadium is not far from downtown.

Oh good, others going to Denver!

The stadium does look pretty close to downtown.  One hotel website (don't remember which one) claimed the stadium was walking distance, but I called to ask about that and they said it is about 2 miles which technically is considered walking distance but you have to get across a highway so it doesn't sound like a good walk.

Maybe we could plan a group trip to Red Rocks some other time that weekend?

Yes , Lauren,  good points. Many hotels and attractions say things like walking distance from...etc. but in reality, they are so far from the truth. You have to do some digging or ask people as we do here to get the real story.  Don't ever go by what they say on their websites and in brochures.
