So is this one of those faux vintage t-shirts that have been cropping up lately? I have seen them at Target, like Led Zeppelin on them and they look 'distressed'.
Or is it time for 1980s nostalgia? I'm getting old.
U2 usually own the copyright to all of their material, however since R & H was also a feature film, my guess is that the studio (Paramount?) owned the image. From what I have seen at ON all the rock shirts have a graphic owned by the company, not the artist (as with the Madana one). I think studios and magazines hit by hard times are selling off some images to make some $ in the recession. Hense the Rolling Stone bags at Wal Mart, etc.
It is the official R & H graphic (colors may be off), just not a U2 sanctioned shirt.
