Alright, I'm literally all over the map, so bear with me.

1.) U2
2.) The Police
3.) Neil Diamond (yes, THAT Neil Diamond, you need to understand the house I grew up in)9.
4.) Joy Division
5.) David Bowie
6.) Bob Marley
7.) Muse
8.) John Denver (refer to Neil Diamond comment)
9.) Super Mash Brothers / Girl Talk
10.) I'm just going to lump any really good 90s music into this position.  My friends and I listen to 90s music on a daily basis.  So some Goo Goo Dolls, Counting Crows, Jimmy Eat World, Sister Hazel, etc.

The thing about Neil Diamond is he is one of the best entertainers out there.  The man can sing, although he can only sing his songs.  I think his covers are awful.  But more than anything, he's a great lyricist.  Check out "Play Me".  Bono even mentions the song in "Bono in Conversation" and calls it "genius".  So even Bono likes Neil.  Smiley

Outside of Sweet Caroline, which is a fun song, I'd recommend staying far, far away from any Neil Diamond.

I've decided, I won't be listening to any Neil Diamond for the foreseable future.  Cheesy

I knew something wasn't quiet right there. I actually nearly searched for some Neil Diamond just then.  Shocked
