Only four? there are so many this decade.

You're a troll. Just list every U2 song ever recorded.

I think a fair definition of "troll" on this site is having numerous posts deleted by moderators.  I think you got us all beat there Mr. T

In Mr. T's defense, Johnny Amsterdam makes sure to go to every single forum that has anything to do with ATYCLB, HTDAAB, and NLOTH and let everyone know how much he hates those albums.

Johnny, I don't care that you hate those albums, but you bring it up all the time, even when it's not relevant. I think I said this before, but if you really want everyone know how much you hate those albums, just make it the text under you avatar.

I don't see how Crumbs could be on any list of worst songs.

Where you live should not decide
Whether you live or whether you die

Those lines alone justify the entire album...

I think all contenders are within the first 3 albums, mostly Boy & October. Those albums have gems for sure, but if you're looking for the songs with weakest musicianship and lyrics I think they're mostly in there. Crumbs is a bit boring imo, but no way on God's green earth is it their worst ever song.

Because the same song has "With a mouth full of teeth, you ate all your friends."

This is a highly symbolic, almost surrealistic, song. "Mouth full of teeth" suggests a voracious appetite (such as the world's hunger for resources at the expense of the poor). "You ate all your friends" extraordinarily metaphorical (like Joseph's dream of seven thin cows devouring seven healthy cows). No, this song is woefully under-appreciated.

I dont doubt the symbolism or surrealism of the song. The line is just horrible to my ears. Same with "Your face caught up with your psychology."

Agreed. "Crumbs" is a gem. The lyrics are great. Especially the one's being cited as poor.

It's perhaps the angriest U2 song.

I love the tune and the lyrics from the second chorus on. First two verses just leave me totally flat.
