It's one of U2's only real "Rock & Roll" tunes. Loose and fun.

Fun thread!  Grin

'80s:
-Johnny Swallow (Even the title)
-Stranger in a strange land
-Is that All
-Love Rescue Me

'90s:
-So Cruel (though I loved it at the time lyrics are fine still)
I couldn't find any others, maybe The Ground Beneath Her Feet, but only for the sterile instrumentation.

'00s: what a feast... but I'll stick to 4.
-Walk On
-When I Look At the World
-One Step Closer
-Are You Gonna Wait Forever (wouldn't have listed it had it not been the only original B-side for a while)

Anything from ATYCLB

But we'll go with:

Wild Honey
Stuck In A Moment
Peace on Earth
Grace

For needing to pick 4.

I know, I know. Smiley Love Rescue Me is okay, but it sounds a bit too much like a country song, and I don't like country music Tongue
As to Wire, I DO like that song, I just don't think it's one of U2's best.
So Cruel is good, but my dad has been playing that one a lot in the car lately, so I'm a bit sick of it. Who's Gonna Ride is good too, but not one of my favs.
Staring at the Sun is... interesting.

Haha.  Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses has just always been a song I'm deeply attached to.  You have to be in the right frame of mind for it though.  I think I like it because I don't necessarily understand it.

I like it, but I've never been big on Horses. I know what you mean about being attached to it. I feel the same way about Tomorrow and a ton of other ones.

In no specific order

Stand Up Comedy
Man and a Woman (actually about 80% of the album blows )
Get on your boots
I'll go crazy

I can deal with the rest but mostly from the last 2 albums

I find enjoyment out of most things u2
but

crumbs on your table- skip
love and peace- skip
All because of you- skip even the intro is annoying
and the lot of no line apart from moment of surrender
