All, let's open the voting for our next book. We didn't have a lot of suggestions, so I left an opiton for peole to still add to the choices. If someone mentions something in the thread I will go back and add it. I set up the poll so that you can change  your choice.

The poll will be open for 10 days, that will give everyone enough time to get the book and maybe do some reading over Thanksgiving. This is cutting it a little close, so speak up if this won't work for you and we will adjust.

Tuesdays seem to be a good meeting day. And of course we are looking for someone to lead the discussions.

I just read this book called "Fat Kid Rules the World", about a 300-pound teenager who gets drafted by this Kurt Cobain-esque NYC street punk guitarist to drum in his band. Very easy read, with some foul language, but I liked the premise of the book! Cool

Hi JT!!! How have you been? Cool choice.  Cool  Perhaps after the holiday on the punk band one?

This is a tough one. I have voted finally!

I would love for shock & JT to join our group. It would be wonderful to hear their perspective on things!

I've voted and am looking forward to reading and discussing again. Yes Shock & Jt would
be great here. How many do we have so far then?
I agree SG the punk band one would be interesting after the holidays.
