I always have a lot of random songs stuck in my head (killers, jason mraz, iTunes free singles of the week) and even though U2 dominates my iPod, I can never get any of their songs stuck in my head! I hate it cuz I want to sing U2 stuff, but it's never there. Happen to you guys?

maybe its because you listen to U2 all the time, it doesnt need to be stuck in your head. for instance, i have that song from the Black eyed peas stuck in my head, i think i heard the song once.

Lately it's "21 Guns" by Green Day, but I also have the chorus to "Mercy" in my head a lot lately.

I will hum parts of U2 songs, but I like the fact that they don't "earworm" you. Some songs I will hear once in a store or on the radio and I won't be able to get them out of my head-- I find it bothersome. U2 never does that. I take it as a sign of their talent-- because of this their songs are almost always "fresh" to me.

Ah, I agree with all you guys... sometimes U2 lyrics will just pop into my head but not much else... too bad, but I can just listen to them whenever I have the time!

It doesn't take much to get a U2 song stuck in my head. Having seen the title of this thread, NLOTH is now firmly planted there...

"The songs in your head are now on my mind..."

See, even the most tenuous link is enough to do it!

When it's a song you like I don't think you see it as being "stuck in your head" - you're just listening to a great song in your mind. You notice it more when it's something you don't conciously acknowledge liking.
