Heya
I've been coming to this site for a long time, but have only signed up for the forum now.

A little about me: Im from Derry in Ireland, used to be a frequent user of the site U2mp3s, I've seen U2 7 times (Slane, Croke Park x4, Millenium Stadium x2), going to Hannover next August to see them.  Besides U2 Im a massive movie fan, feel free to chat

Hey mb ... welcome to the forum!  I'm actually hoping to go to Derry at some point in the spring for some potential research for my undergraduate capstone project.  We'll see how it pans out.

I'll give any film a chance, but I love films that are well written & have a good story with character development, but I still enjoy mindless action movies aswell... who doesn't.  My fav actors would be Mickey Rourke, Russell Crowe, Viggo Mortensen, Steve McQueen, James Franco, David Duchovny and Tom Jane.
I absolutely hate the Spiderman, Transformers & Pirates of the Carribean movies!!... those are my idea of movie hell!!

rattleandhum24 you'll love Derry...plenty of bars playing live music

Viggo Mortensen is the man!  I'm pumped to see him in The Road, I love that book (as much as you can love a post-apocalyptic story.)  If you haven't seen Eastern Promises, I highly recommend it.

The Slane I was at wasn't the one they filmed, I was at the first week, the concert was on the day after Bono buried his dad, was an amazing concert with great support acts & they did A Sort of Homecoming!!

That must have been a very special concert whether it was on film or not. I am sure you will remember it always! You were so lucky to have been there.
