Who sings that part in Miracle Drug

Okay, so technically this isn't a lyric question. I just want to know who sings the "Beneath the noise, below the din, I hear your voice, it's whispering" part in Miracle Drug. It sounds a bit like Edge, and I think I remember Edge singing it on the Vertigo '06 DVD, but maybe that was just for the concert. So, my basic question is, is it Edge or Bono?

Edge! And it really surprised me too actually, but it's definitely Edge.

I kinda already knew because his voice has less power than Bono does

Does anyone know why Edge sings that part?
I think it sounds great! I was just curious if anyone knew why, as it seems to me that it's well within Bono's range and (speaking as a singer/guitarist) Edge is playing a really cool riff WHILE singing, which is sort of like "AAAAH!! NOT WORTHY" for some guitarists (myself included).

It took on a whole new meaning for me after learning of his daughters' illness; I don't know if that's why he did it on record but it certainly was a highlight of the San Diego Vertigo show for me.

If you think they sound alike in that part, listen to the first verse of Seconds. It's Edge, but if you weren't paying attention you'd think it was Bono.
Thanks to all for answering my question!

Wow, you guys are blowing my mind. Miracle Drug AND Seconds? But now that I listen to it again, you're right. So what other songs does Edge sing on?

Umm, I can't think of any other songs where Edge is really singing anything other than backup vocals. In concerts, he sings the whole "And if the night runs over, and if the day won't last, and if your way should falter, along the stony pass" part of stuck in a moment while Bono improvs over it; on the album, though, I think Bono does it and they dub his voice over it.

It's just Edge singing falsetto in both album and live.
