I got em at section 514 for $30! But I'm planning on buying some GA tix on stubhub.com later on. It's gonna be pricey but what the hell.

I have tickets for both nights. On Sunday night I am bringing my MOM! (age 83) - she's really into social justice politics and a big fan of Bono's columns in the NYTimes. To the best of my knowledge she's never been to a rock concert in her entire life. We have front row seats in Sec. C317. A lot of money, but this way if she want to sit down (I expect she will ;-) ) she will still be able to see. I am so excited about this.

I have Red Zone Adam's side for Monday night. I was really surprised by how cheap these were - not much more than ebay GA's would have cost.

I'm coming from Minneapolis and will be staying in Carlsbad/San Diego area. Can anyone advise me about taking the Metrolink train up the coast to/from the show? Is it reliable? Would you recommend it? And will they run late trains since it's a concert night? Need to hear from you Californians about this. I have a rental car available too.

K2,

Re: taking the metrolink from San Diego to Anaheim Stadium

Any chance you can stay closer to Anaheim than Carlsbad/San Diego?   Grin

I used to take this line of the Metrolink every day for work.  The Metrolink is a commuter train, so while you can get to Anaheim Stadium from San Diego (Oceanside) for the show, I do not think that trains run that late going the other way.  I think the latest Metrolink going toward Oceanside hits Anaheim about 7:30-ish.  This is too bad because the Anaheim station is literally next to the Anaheim Stadium parking lot.  I have not heard anything about late trains due to the concert because it's not really set up for it but I would be happy to be wrong.   Here is where you can use their trip planner:

http://www.metrolinktrains.com/tripplanner/index.php

Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner runs later than the Metrolink, but the latest train leaving Anaheim is about 10:49PM.  The concert might be wrapping up at that time, but probably not over yet.

You may be stuck driving the distance, but at least at 11PM, there shouldn't be (much) traffic.
